Parea Association is a network of gay, bisexual or transsexual (GBT) men in Suriname with a higher education degree or a comparable career.
Parea serves as a support network, providing Surinamese gay professionals with social and business contacts to further their careers and enrich their lives.
Parea members work in e.g. education, consultancy, IT, in bigger (state) companies, or are entrepreneurs.
But we want to contribute to society as a whole as well. Our members organize projects which contribute benefit all Surinamese. Parea members want to lead by example and foster a positive image of the Surinamese GBT community.
