Parea Suriname turned five years old. The association of LGBT professionals celebrated this first lustrum in the beautiful historic CornerHouse at the Waterkant with friends and guests. In a few years, Parea has developed into a solid partner for governments, employers and NGOs, according to a review by President Juan Pigot. The beautiful ladies dressed in koto from the NAKS Akuba Showgroup Misi De Neef. provided a surprise performance that came into its own in the beautiful historic setting. The band Q-Time provided the musical accompaniment during this festive celebration of the five-year anniversary of the Parea association.
